I need a backpack for myself (28 years old) That will also hold my doll securely. I've looked at the one in the catalog but can't tell how big it is. Are there reveiws on it or alternatives that anyone knows of?

I use a tote bag from Disneyworld for the dolls. The totebag is $24 in DW and at DWStores, but it is so comfy and the dolls fit perfectly! I can put two dolls in one tote! I suggest you get one of those. I can hold the tote all day on my shoulder and it is still comfy all day, give it 5 stars!

The back pack is about 18 inches tall and 13 inches wide at the bottom. It narrows slightly at the top. It has 2 seperate compartments on the front, the space for the doll, and a very spacious inside. It is a little heavy for DD. When we travel I usually end up carrying it thru the airport. Of course, she usually has 2 dolls in it too. One will fit inside.

I have also used the club bag for doll travel. The doll sits very nicely in the bottom or can stand with her head out for sightseeing [img]wink.gif[/img] . We are pleased with both bags.

I've also got the Girls Backpack from the backpack/suitcase set. Vew-tori has already given dimensions, but as for carrying capacity:

It last carried 2 hardcover gaming books, 30 pages worth of character sheets, 1 large sketchbook, a box of pencils, and a day-planner. I've also carried up to 3 books and my viao in it.

(A gaming book is usually about 9"x12" and varies in width from 1/2" to 2", or the size of a narrow textbook)

While I like mine, I'm still not quite convinced it's worth the full $34. I got mine at the end of the Code Craze, and I do think it's worth the $24
